....NEW merit stickers for Teachers!

I had a very creative morning and developed 4 NEW sticker designs for all the Teacher's out there who love to make marking a little bit more fun and to spoil their students! I've been super busy this weekend in the sticker department, seems that they're making nice christmas gifts for work colleagues - nice to give something that's been "handmade with love" x

You'll find these stickers on sale at my madeit store...

and a closer look..

Sold in bags of 20 or 40 - they really DO make nice gifts for Teachers you may know.

Loving springtime!

Having some fun in the garden this afternoon. I've been looking for a nice way to photograph the little cupcake toppers I've been making lately. I've been trying to coordinate them to the various personalized invitations. So, here's the photo shoot - simple ended up being the best!  x

I really like the dual layer toppers. Each one is made from heavy, linen textured cardstock and backed on to a scalloped circle - well, you can see for yourself! These are just my "experimental" ones. I'll be adding the "real" ones to the party stationery sets (invitation, thank you tag, cupcake topper and birthday banner) that will feature on my website.

So here we begin..

This is not my first attempt at this blogging business. I did do it once and promptly lost interest - I think because I had no real reason to blog, I mean, my life just isn't that interesting to anyone but my nearest and dearest.

So, why am I trying again?

Well. I have a reason to blog now. I'm just in the process of launching my new website "Oh So Stationery" - oh, yet another stationery website I hear you mutter - but being a teacher for the past 5 years I've recognized a "hole in the market" so to speak and that great gaping hole of nothingness I'm filling with my own pretty teacher's stationery. Personalized stickers, communication cards, notecards and - eventually - merit awards. Designed to motivate students and to fill our busy working lives with a little bit of... oh so stationery.

So, as a mother to a precious (precocious?) 2 and a half year old I've recognized another "great gaping hole" (this one seems to be just in Australia) and that's affordable, personalized invitations, bag tags and other great party ware that shies away from the generic "fill in the blank" numbers we can find at "every good newsagent". This is the kind of stationery that your party guests will ooh and aah over, that will look good in photographs and that will make your decorating job a breeze.

So, while it's slowly being built be sure to check out my "at the moment" stores stocking my teacher's stickers and invitations at:
