This is not my first attempt at this blogging business. I did do it once and promptly lost interest - I think because I had no real reason to blog, I mean, my life just isn't that interesting to anyone but my nearest and dearest.
So, why am I trying again?
Well. I have a reason to blog now. I'm just in the process of launching my new website "Oh So Stationery" - oh, yet another stationery website I hear you mutter - but being a teacher for the past 5 years I've recognized a "hole in the market" so to speak and that great gaping hole of nothingness I'm filling with my own pretty teacher's stationery. Personalized stickers, communication cards, notecards and - eventually - merit awards. Designed to motivate students and to fill our busy working lives with a little bit of... oh so stationery.
So, as a mother to a precious (precocious?) 2 and a half year old I've recognized another "great gaping hole" (this one seems to be just in Australia) and that's affordable, personalized invitations, bag tags and other great party ware that shies away from the generic "fill in the blank" numbers we can find at "every good newsagent". This is the kind of stationery that your party guests will ooh and aah over, that will look good in photographs and that will make your decorating job a breeze.
